Friends, it is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Bandit and Squirt have perished. Bandit actually died about three weeks ago while I was in Halifax; Chris found him in the pond filter.
And just now, Chris IM'd me to let me know he'd just found Squirt in the pond pump. (We actually couldn't make an ID on the first fatality until this second one occurred and we could gauge the size of the remains.)
'Tis a sad day at the Homestead. :(
